From 1984 through 1995 I worked as an Illustrator/Graphic Designer for several
design studios and ad agencies in Atlanta and Louisville. In 1996 I started
Wade Illustration & Design, inc., specializing in medical, technical and editorial
illustrations and marketing/sales support including logo design, brochure and
promotional material development. During this time I spent three years as a
medical illustrator with the Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville.

My illustrations utilize a variety of techniques and mediums; airbrush, acrylic,
gouache, pastels, pen & ink and oil. I also work digitally on MAC with Adobe CS
and often blend my traditional and digital art. Other skills include photography,
photo retouching and calligraphy.
